Milla Jovovich announces her second pregnancy
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Milla Jovovich and husband Paul W.S. Anderson are expecting their second child.
"My husband Paul and I just discovered that we are expecting another baby!" the 38-year-old actress announced Monday on Facebook.
Jovovich and Anderson were scheduled to begin work on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, but the actress said filming will be delayed.
"After a lot of discussion, we thought it would be in everyone's best interest to wait till the baby is born before we set out to try and tackle an RE movie," she explained. "Between the stunt work and what will become my ever-expanding belly, we didn't think pregnancy and zombie killing are the best combo!"
The couple met on the set of Resident Evil in 2001, with Anderson as director and Jovovich as star. The pair welcomed their first child, daughter Ever Gabo, in November 2007, and married in August 2009.
Jovovich has starred in four Resident Evil sequels, with Anderson serving as either director or producer. The actress will appear in Cymbelline later this year, and is scheduled for Survivor in 2015.
