Miss Myanmar International 2013 to be held in Yangon

Miss Myanmar International will be held at Traders hotel in Yangon in February 2013, according to tourism circle on Sunday. Aimed at making Myanmar known worldwide, increasing arrival of tourists, the event, organized by Myanmar Travels Federation, is scheduled to take place on Feb. 24. Altogether 20 outstanding contestants will be selected from the contest. The selected contestants are being trained in personality, relations and general knowledge subjects. Meanwhile, Miss Myanmar Nan Khin Zayar grabbed two awards -- People's Choice Award and Miss Internet Award as the result of earning 21.5 million online votes at the Miss International Beauty Pageant 2012, which was held in Okinawa, Japan, in October this year.
