Popular committees in Tahrir protect women

Popular committees in Tahrir Square have set up a security cordon in front of the only stage in the square near Mohamed Mahmoud street where women protesters can stand freely to protect them against any harassment. The committee members are deployed at the various entrances of the square to check the IDs of people wishing to join in.
