The events of the exhibition accompanying Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa’ Award concluded yesterday with great success, to encourage productive families in its second term. Assistant Undersecretary for Society Development at the Ministry of Social Development, Khalid Abdul-Rahman Ishaac Al-Koohaji expressed his thanks and appreciation for all who participated in making the exhibition successful, highlighting the active participation of the Bahraini and Arab Productive Families. Khalid Abdul-Rahman Ishaac said that the Award and the Exhibition attain a great concern in encouraging production, embracing and supporting productive families, valuing HRH Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa’s Award. He also added that the Award encourages the community to shift from a consumer society to a productive society, even in the form of small and micro projects, because it is the nucleus of strengthening economic added value and the trend towards diversification of income sources. Khalid Abdul-Rahman Ishaac pointed out that most of the products displayed in the Exhibition were hand-made products, and they were innovative and showed the originality and heritage, which won the admiration of visitors. Khalid Al-Koohaji stressed that the exhibition has positive impacts in developing the productive capability of the community, and encouraging innovation, creativity, and discovering talents. At the end of his statement, Assistant Undersecretary for Developing Society at the Ministry of Social Development pointed out that the Exhibition achieved such aim, and has become the haven for the Arab productive projects that transfer them from the growth stages into innovation, creativity and success stages.
