Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women(SCW), the first forum for women and education will be held next Tuesday.
The forum, themed "Role of educational institution in ensuring sustainability of the Bahraini women's advancement", is organised by the SCW, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education(MoE).
The forum aims to activate the role of education in consolidating a positive tendency towards the Bahraini woman, through promoting the culture of equal opportunities, raising awareness on women's issues and SCW's role in this area and highlighting the role of educational institutions in the activation of the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women.
The forum will address the SCW's role in supporting the advancement of Bahraini women and its achievements and visions, as well as the role of the educational institutions as partners in the integration of women's needs and achievement of equal opportunities.
