Shura Council President Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh today sent a cable of congratulation to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) marking the annual Bahrain Woman’s Day which falls on Saturday (December1). Mr. Al-Salah paid tribute to HRH Princess Sabeeka for her continuous support which enabled Bahraini woman to embark on the path of success and achievements. He extended congratulations to Bahraini women, expressing the wish that they would continue the path of dedication which contributed to Bahrain’s landmark development and progress. He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and HRH Princess Sabeeka for the fruitful efforts in the prosperous era to empower woman, promote her status, protect her rights and preserve her dignity. “The Shura Council will spare no efforts to use its legislative prerogatives and ensure a favourable environment for women to continue the march of achievements, consolidate her status and contribute to the comprehensive national development process”, he pledged.
