An awarding ceremony of the Bahraini Female Entrepreneur Honour Seal will be held tomorrow at the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) headquarters. The honouring ceremony will be held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Women. It aims to encourage outstanding young female entrepreneurs and click on their creativity potentials as well as boost partnership between SCW and the civil society institutions. A committee has been set up for the award, which is headed by SCW member Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa and features in its membership SCW member Afnan Zayani, Tamkeen Board member and Head of the National Society for Supporting Education and Training Abdulelah Al-Qasimi, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) member Khalid Al Amine and member of Bahrain Businesswomen Society Khulood Al Qattan. The committee is in charge of working out the competition's criteria and deciding on characteristics and form of the seal. The initiative was launched by HRH Princess Sabeeka in the 10th anniversary of SCW and Bahraini Woman's Day celebration in December 2011.
