Princess Sabeeka's support to women sport hailed

Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), has received a cable of thanks from HM the King’s Personal Representative for Youth and Charity Work Affairs, the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman and the Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Nasser, who was replying to HRH Princess Sabeeka's cable of thanks marking Bahrain's winning of first place in the 4th edition of the GCC Women's Sports championship in Oman, asserted that the SCW President’s strong support to Bahraini women in all fields, including the sport one, had motivated them to enhance their performance at all levels.
He extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH Princess Sabeeka for her continuous support that had contributed positively to advancing women’s sport in the kingdom and encouraged women athletes to attain outstanding results, of which Bahrain is proud.
