
Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with a group of women from the North-Eastern Badia, during her visit to Sabha Village in Mafraq.
During the meeting, Mrs. Intisar Al Armouty, wife of Dr. Klaib Fawwaz, welcomed Her Majesty and talked about the Queen’s work and different initiatives that support education and community empowerment in Jordan.
Queen Rania welcomed the opportunity to meet the diverse group of women from the North-Eastern Badia, which houses several military, educational and vocational facilities. Her Majesty also praised the humanitarian efforts of the residents in helping Syrian refugees in the area.
Her Majesty then shed light on the importance of quality education and online learning to provide all Jordanians with the best education available.
The discussion also touched on the living conditions and the health and educational services in the area. The Queen also got a chance to listen to a number of success stories in community work, education and by women and income generating projects.
