Sheikha Fatima donates Dh5m for victims of Nepal's Earthquake

H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, has donated Dh 5 million to provide relief for victims of Nepal's earthquake that hit the country yesterday.

The gesture came as part of the framework of Sheikha Fatima's initiatives to help victims of disasters and crises.

Sheikha Fatima has directed the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) to make immediate provisions for humanitarian and medical assistance to the affected people. ERC praised the noble stances of Sheikha Fatima as well as her support for its charitable programmes for the benefit of underprivileged people across the world.
