
Minister Fouad Siniora, currently on a visit to Istanbul, met on Monday with Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, with talks reportedly touching on most recent developments at the Arab scene, especially in Egypt and Syria. Both men discussed Turkey's essential role in pacifying the situation in Egypt -- looking at the fact that it enjoys strong ties with the different sides of the Egyptian conflict. Future bloc leader, Fouad Siniora and his accompanying delegation also held talks with Turkish President, Abdullah Gul, following a meeting with Turkish Prime Minister, Daoud Oglo.
