
The Southern Governorate has today hosted a ceremony at its headquarters in Awali marking Bahrain Women's Day, which falls on December 1. Deputy Governor Faisal Rashid Al-Nuaimi paid tribute to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).
In a statement on this occasion, he commended her pivotal role in promoting the status of Bahraini women in civil and military fields. He hailed the efforts of the Southern Governorate women employees to ensure premium services for citizens and contribute to the national development momentum under the leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
