
Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Samia Ahmed Mohamed, has expressed hope that Um Jaras Forum will put an end to Darfur issue, noting that its recommendations are positive and supporting to reconciliation and solidarity between all Darfur states' components. In a press statement, Samia said that the significant support of sister Chad affirms interest to boost stability in Darfur, noting that the presence of the national forces in the forum was considered as affirmation of the spirit of reconciliation. Regarding the absence of the armed movements, Samia said that the real stakeholders are the people of Darfur, adding that the general spirit of the citizens was directed towards stability and development. Meanwhile, Samia revealed that the most important thing that is to be discussed by the National Assembly in its next session is the evaluation of the Executive performance.
