Swedish grant worth EGP 18m for empowering Egyptian woman

Sweden announced a grant worth 18 million pounds to "Social, Economic and Legal Empowerment of Egyptian Women” venture which is a joint program of the United Nations (UN) institutions.
It aims at tackling the challenges that face woman, supporting its empowerment and backing the women's role in the society.
A statement issued by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) said that the program targets improving services to the Egyptian woman, funding and job opportunities.
