As part of its objective to develop and grow the private sector, Tamkeen supported a seminar that was hosted by Anne Doyle, a leader in communication strategy with over 30 years of experience in journalism, business and politics. The seminar was held in partnership with the Public Affairs office of the United States Embassy, Manama, and focused mainly on the importance of empowering women and their role within the economy The seminar was attended by over 50 delegates from various backgrounds which included women entrepreneurs from Bahrain Businesswomen Society, Students, and Industry professionals among others. To date, more than 75,000 Bahraini individuals and enterprises in Bahrain have benefited from Tamkeen programmes to date, and the total number is expected to rise to more than 100,000.
