
Dr. Deisi Kusztra, President of the World Family Organization (WFO), has said that the U.A.E. is a pioneering country in the field of family care, its development and serving the community.
She also lauded the role of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood in this field.
She also commended her role in the great achievements of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) in the development of the family and meeting their needs and requirements, while indicating that the FDF's vision and strategy translates and enhances the objectives of the government through its role via the provision of its services, programmes and conferences.
"This role reflects the aspirations of the Government of Abu Dhabi," She also added.
These remarks were made during a meeting between Mariam Mohammad Al Rumaithi, Director-General of the Family Development Foundation, and WFO President at Multaqa ‘Our Gathering', the weekly programme in the presence of Dr. Anjli Panalal, Deputy Director General of Policy of the National Population and Family Development Board Malaysia, Lara Hussein, WFO Vice President for Family Policy and other heads of department.
Addressing the audience, Al Rumaithi said that the foundation has set its strategic plan in line with the vision of the Government of Abu Dhabi, which has had great achievements at the local, regional and international arenas, indicating that such successes were achieved due to the relentless efforts of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, who launched a number of programmes and events, for the benefit of all members of the family.
The Director-General of the Family Development Foundation reiterated that FDF under Sheikha Fatima is working within an outlined plan in order to provide the best services and programmes for the family through the organisation of international gatherings and conferences.
