
Shaikha Mariam bint Hamad Al Khalifa, Wife of the Bahraini Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Shaikh Hmood bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, has hosted at her house here the periodic meeting of the Association of the Wives of Ambassadors to Saudi Arabia.
Shaikha Mariam welcomed her guests, and expressed delight at meeting them in the "House of Bahrain" here, affirmed the solid fraternal and fraternal relations bonding the kingdom and their countries, and highlighted the importance of cultural and social relations among peoples.
Wives of Ambassadors to Saudi Arabia discussed ways to enhance cooperation and relations among their countries.
They also exchanged cordial talks on cultural and social issues, as well as women's role and empowerment.
The meeting also touched upon means to enhance inter-cultural dialogue and positive interaction among civilisations in order to achieve global peace.
Wives of Ambassadors to Saudi Arabia expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to Shaikha Mariam for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to them, as well as the good organisation of the meeting.
It is to be noted that Shaikha Mariam Al Khalifa is the Deputy President of the Arab Group of the Association of the Wives of Ambassadors to Saudi Arabia.
