
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King, President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), today received Kulthum Sharif, wife of Pakistan's Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, marking her visit to the country.
Wife of HM the King reviewed the leading role of Bahraini women and their participation in the development achievements witnessed by Bahrain in all fields. She highlighted Bahrain's keenness on supporting plans and programmes for the empowerment of Bahraini women in all areas to promote nation-building and development process, in order to reach an equal partnership with Bahraini women to enable them to contribute to the national development process.
Wife of Pakistani Premier wished Bahraini women further successes and gains at all levels. She hailed the SCW President's distinguished efforts in activating the Bahraini women's participation and introducing their achievements to the world, looking forward to establishing more cooperation between the two countries, mainly in women's empowerment.
