
Wife of HM the King, President of the Advisory Council of National Initiative for Agricultural Development, HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, today received Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Eng. Essam Abdulla Khalaf, in the presence of Undersecretary of Agriculture and Marine Resources Affairs, Shaikh Khalifa bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH Princess Sabeeka Al Khalifa stressed the importance of joint cooperation toward achieving the objectives of the national initiative for developing and uplifting the agriculture sector.
She praised the vital role played by Works Ministry in supporting Bahrain International Garden Show, which is held under her patronage, as a national event since its inception in the fifties of last century. She underlined concerting efforts to accentuate the civilizational image of Bahrain and its interest in upgrading agriculture sector.
Works Minister lauded HRH Princess Sabeeka's keenness on developing the agriculture sector. He stressed the ministry's endeavor to promote the initiative objectives to push the march of sustainable agricultural development.
