Police in western Greece say they have arrested a woman on allegations she killed her 3-month-old son and then stashed his body in a freezer. The 31-year-old woman, who was arrested Wednesday morning, is accused of having beaten the infant twice in the head last Saturday and throwing him into a crib with no mattress, leading to serious injuries. The baby died the following morning, AP quoted police as saying in a statement. The woman then allegedly placed her son's body in the freezer in the house where she lived with her three children. The other two children (16-month-old twins) were taken to a hospital for health checks and have been placed in the care of a children's charity
