Woman arrested with weapons in car

A woman was arrested at an army checkpoint on the West Bekaa-Kefraya highway Friday, after being caught with weapons in her car. The woman was carrying 12 hunting rifles and four military ones, according to the National News Agency. Separately, Beirut police arrested a man for drug possession in the neighborhood of Badaro. The suspect was riding a small unlicensed motorcycle and was caught with a large amount of narcotic pills in his possession. The suspect was then referred to the Drug Control Office for further questioning on the source of the drugs. From dailystar
