Woman in labor forces British craft to land in Kuwait

A British Airways plane made an emergency landing in Kuwait International Airport on Tuesday morning, due to a passenger going into labor. Head of Operations Department in the Public Authority of Civil Aviation Essam Al-Zamil told KUNA all necessary procedures were in place to take care of the British woman. Medical staff and passport check representatives were ready to receive the passenger upon the plane's landing. The aircraft, which was originally heading from Dubai to London, took off again after the patient was taken to Al-Farwaniya Hospital, accompanied by her family.
