The Association for the Development and Enhancement of Women (ADEW) praised Thursday the amendments made by the 50-member committee on 2012 suspended constitution. In a statement, the ADEW extended thanks to the panemembers over their efforts to support women. The amendments include new positive articles that maintain the rights of vulnerable people, read the statement. It highlighted article no. 93 that says Egypt will be bound by international human rights agreements that are signed by the state. "This new article converted all international agreements signed by the country into enforceable laws," the statement said. The association also described the new amendments as new step to build modern and developed country. ADEW is in active supporting vulnerable people in some of the poorest areas in Cairo and its suburbs.
