
Minister of Human Rights Horyah Mashhoor met here on Tuesday with Head of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC)’s delegation in Yemen, Cedric Schweizer. At the meeting, Mashhoor praised the role of the ICRC’s delegation in Yemen, especially in the field of training on international humanitarian law, adding that the concepts of international law must be known to everyone in the states of peace and conflict. The meeting also touched on the discussion of the government efforts in addressing the issues of detained and forcibly hidden persons, as well as the prospects for cooperation between the Ministry and the delegation.
