Veronique Rees, the new face of fitness

Champion fitness model and single mother of three, 47-year-old Veronique Rees is the inspirational face of the growing competitive fitness modelling trend. French born, Veronique grew up in Lyon, France. Starting out as a ballerina, fitness has always been an important part of Veronique’s life. With both parents working in health clubs and instilling the importance of maintaining a healthy diet and well-kept, lean body, Veronique was no stranger to the gym environment from an early age, and has always watched her weight, her diet and exercised. Having worked in a health club from the age of 19, she embarked on a successful career in modelling, which enabled her to travel throughout Europe and Asia. Now based in Surrey, the famously fit 47-year old is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. Transforming bodies for almost 10 years now, Veronique trains clients from all walks of life. It is no surprise that at 47 Veronique is one of the most highly regarded fitness models in the UK. In between devoting her time to her three beautiful children, you will find single mother, Veronique training for forthcoming European and World fitness modeling championships. Success though has been her reward for all her hard work and dedication. In 2013 she won three championship titles ‘Female Figure’, ‘Muscle Model’ and ‘Female Fitness Model Over 40s’ at the Miami Pro European Championships and scooped third place in the ‘Female Fitness Model’ and ‘Yummy Mums’ categories in the same competition.
