IT, machinery sectors to do well in 2012

South Korea's information technology (IT) and general machinery industries may post solid growth in 2012 on strong exports, despite the toughening of global economic conditions, a report showed Wednesday. The report by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) also predicted that autos and petroleum refining should do relatively well although domestic and overseas demand may be hurt compared to the previous year.
