The activist computer group Anonymous hacked hundreds of Chinese government Web sites in recent days, posting all the sites targeted on the Web. Since late March, government, company and general Web sites were entered, some were defaced but others had administrator accounts, phone numbers and e-mail addresses leaked, ZDNet.com reported Wednesday. A post on code-sharing site Pastebin listed all the Web sites Anonymous targeted, at last count 482, visitors said. A separate post explained why Anonymous China is executing these attacks in English and Chinese: "Hello, we are Anonymous. "All these years the Chinese Government has subjected their people to unfair laws and unhealthy processes. "People, each of you suffers from tyranny of that regime. "Fight for justice, fight for freedom, fight for democracy!" The message said the hacks demonstrate Anonymous' "revolt to the Chinese system" and encouraged protesters with skills in hacking, programming, design and other "computer things" to visit a specific Web site.
