Facebook and Twitter for BlackBerry get BBM connected

Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones v3.0 and Twitter for BlackBerry smartphones v3.0 are now BBM connected apps. The new confirmed by BlackBerry maker Research In Motion means that users of both apps will now be able to share their latest status updates and tweets as your BBM Personal Message at the same time. Users will simply have to select the "Share with BBM" icon from within the app for the new feature to work, after downloading the new Facebook and Twitter updates of course. "You can also opt to share tweets or Facebook updates with your BBM contacts in one centralized location," RIM tells Pocket-lint. The Twitter and Facebook apps are just two apps to get the new BBM connected features. The BlackBerry App World also gets BBM connectivity meaning you can share your favourite apps with your BBM contacts. BBM v6.2 now also offers a sample of all new animated avatars so you can see what they do.
