For now, I’ll just cover the new stuff.And there’s a lot of new stuff in Mint 12 to explore!Brand new desktop featuring the MGSE (Mint Gnome Shell Extensions) is a desktop layer on top of Gnome 3. Don’t want MGSE? The you can disable it.MATE is available on the DVD edition of Linux Mint 12. CD edition users will need to install it via the mint-meta-mate package. Also note that MATE is not completely stable yet, and is missing a few parts.
