
Pakistan launched here its first locally developed satellite CubeSat1 for aerospace research, the Pakistani Institute of Aerospace Science announced here today. CubeSat1, the statement added, has been launched from a Russian base of Yazni, on a Diniber launching rocket. The satellite, according to the statement, has been locally developed to culminate 10-year endeavor, to meet Pakistan national needs to cope with world scientific state of the art, in aerospace science. The satellite will, also, give the institute a hand to monitor space physics, biological and chemical as well as images and information related to space research, the statement concluded.
