Kim Dotcom's co-accused Mathias Ortmann has been bailed. Ortmann, 40, from Germany, was granted electronically-monitored bail by Judge David McNaughton in the Manukau District Court today. Three of the four men arrested by police in a January 20 raid on Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom's Coatesville mansion have now been granted bail. Ortmann, Bran van der Kolk and Finn Batato have been granted bail, leaving only Dotcom, also known as Kim Schmitz, behind bars. Ortmann was bailed to the Orakei home of van der Kolk, despite objections from the Crown. The Crown claims having van der Kolk, Batato and Ortmann bailed to the same address would pose too much risk of flight or reoffending. However Judge McNaughton rejected these concerns, given the three would not have access to the Internet under their bail conditions, and would be monitored by police.
