
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) said in its annual report released on Monday that it approved 21. 02 billion U.S. dollars in financing operations including co- financing in 2013. Of the total, 14.37 billion U.S. dollars was financed by ADB and Special Funds while 6.64 billion U.S. dollars came from co- financing partners. ADB said its operations are concentrated in five core areas: infrastructure, environment, regional cooperation and integration, finance sector development, and education. The annual report was released ahead of ADB's 47th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors on May 2 to 5 in Astana, Kazakhstan.
