
President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir inaugurated Tuesday evening the Riyadh Centre of Faisal Islamic Bank in Khartoum which includes the Electronic Branch, Banking Branch and Faisal Cultural Centre, with participation of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Faisal Islamic Bank Prince Dr. Mohamed Al-Faisal Al-Saud, Assistant of President of the Republic, Dr Nafie Ali Nafie , Minister at the Higher Council for Investment, Dr Mustafa Osman Ismail , a number of ministers and executive and political officials and the Director- General and employees of Faisal Islamic Bank. The centre is located at Riyadh neighborhood - Khartoum - Al-Mashtal Street. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Minister of Culture and Information, Dr Ahmed Bilal Osman indicated to roles and efforts of Faisal Islamic Bank and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting Sudan. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Faisal Islamic Bank Prince Dr. Mohamed Al-Faisal Al-Saud pledged pressing ahead with enhancing the work of the Bank to contribute to sustaining Sudan's economic growth through using modern technologies in transactions. It is to be mentioned that President of the Republic and wali (Governor) of Khartoum State were honored during the ceremony.
