
AmBank Bhd has been awarded the "Best Customer Satisfaction" award for excellence in customer service by Markplus Inc, an integrated marketing solutions company. The award was given under the inaugural Best of Malaysia Service to Care Champion 2011, an award programme initiated by Markplus Inc to raise the awarness of Malaysian companies especially in the services industry. The bank, with assets valued at more than US$20 billion topped the list based on the results of a survey done by MarkPlus involving 1,500 respondents who are customers of five services industries namely conventional banking, Islamic banking, credit cards, life insurance and hospital services. AmBank's Managing Director Retail Banking, Datuk Mohamed Azmi Mahmood, in a statement today said the prestigious award was made possible through the commitment of the staff and management of the company in delivering a distinctively superior customer experience.
