
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin SalmanAl Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Corporate and Investment BankingHead and member of BNP Paribas Bank Executive Committee Alain Papiasse.HRH the Premier lauded the outstanding role of BNP Paribas Bank in supporting thebanking sector in Bahrain and further cementing the Bahraini-French relations in theeconomic and banking field. He also praised the bank's contribution to providingthe Bahraini citizens with job and training opportunities.He also reviewed with Mr. Papiasse the bank's programmes and future plans. Hecommended keenness of the board of directors on continuous development of thebank's activities in Bahrain, lauding the bank's high international standing.HRH the Prime Minister underscored the government's incessant support to thefinancial and banking sector to bolster its role as a main catalyst of economicdevelopment..On his part, Mr. Papiasse paid tribute to the government, led by HRH the Premier, forall the facilities provided to attract major banking institutions and ensure astimulating economic and investment climate which turned Bahrain into a regionalfinancial and investment hub.
