
The US dollar exchange rate at Egyptian banks dropped by 5 piasters during Sunday's early tradings.
In November, The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) liberalized the dollar exchange rate as part of measures requested by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) ’s executive board which approved Egypt’s request for a dlrs 12 billion loan to support Egypt's economic reform program.
The dollar exchange rate at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), Banque Misr, Banque Du Cairo and the CIB, stood on Sunday at EGP 17.50 buy price and EGP 17.75 sell price.
