Jordan, world bank discuss cooperation

Jordanian Minister of Labor Nidal Qatamin discussed Sunday with newly-appointed Director of Middle East and North Africa Region – World Bank Farid al-Haj ways to enhance cooperation with the Bank in various labor fields. During the meeting, Qatamin noted the Bank’s role in the development of vocational training and employment sector as well as its support for the National Strategy for Employment. Al-Haj stressed the World Bank’s keenness to help Jordan develop technical abilities and capabilities, achieve progress and enhance institutional capacity-building.
