
Kuwait's Savings and Credit Bank will start accepting public housing welfare applications for unmarried Kuwaiti women early next month, it was announced here on Saturday. In a press statement, SCB Director-General Mudaf Al-Mudaf said that unmarried Kuwaiti women either; divorced, widows or those exceeding 40 years, yet are still single are all eligible for the housing loans and welfare. The age of applicants should exceed 21 years and they must have no private house whose area exceeds 200 square meters, added the official. In addition to the loan, the applicants will be eligible for low-cost housing. The women are invited to visit the SCB's main office on October 2 to present their applications.
