
Noor Financial Investment Company (NOOR) said Wednesday it repaid a loan amounting to KD 3.54 million to the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) in 2012. Under Noor's restructuring plan and the debt settlement agreement with creditor banks, the company was able to repay a total of KD 11.19 million to the creditors; the figure includes KD 3.54 million owed to the NBK, the company said in a statement. Founded in 1996 with an issued capital of KD 37.5 million, Noor was listed on Kuwait Stock Exchange in 2006.
