
The official reserve assets of Central Bank of Turkey fell to 123 billion 228 million USD in February, declined by 983 million USD. The amount was 124 billion 210 million USD in January. Central Bank announced on Thursday the ''International Reserves and Foreign Currency Liquidity'' data for the period of February 2013. Accordingly, the amount of official reserve assets of Central Bank became 123 billion 228 million USD in February. The amount of foreign currencies purchased and sold by the Central Bank decreased by 296 USD compared to the previous month, to 102 billion 288 million USD from 102 billion 684 million USD. The IMF reserve position which was 173 million USD in January decreased to 171 million USD in February. The gold reserves in the same period decreased to 19 billion 204 million USD from 19 billion 860 million USD in January. As of February, a net outflow of 13 billion 438 million USD was recorded in foreign currency credits, securities and deposits. The amount of net outflow was 12 billion 826 million USD in January.
