
West Texas Intermediate crude for September delivery lost 1 cent overnight to $105.29 per barrel Wednesday morning in New York. Crude oil settled down in advance of Wednesday's Energy Information Administration inventory report due in the afternoon. On the New York Mercantile Exchange Tuesday, reformulated blendstock gasoline lost 0.48 cents to reach $2.9103 per gallon. Home heating oil lost 1.05 cents to reach $2.9103 per gallon. Natural gas shed 0.3 cents to $3.315 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline was $3.60, down from Tuesday's $3.608, the AAA Fuel Gauge report said.
