Crude oil prices were little changed in New York Friday morning, holding close to $92 per barrel, where oil has been stuck most of the week. In a report delayed by Monday's holiday, oil inventories rose by 1.7 million barrels from the previous week to 366.4 million barrels, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said Thursday. The bump had little impact on pricing, as West Texas Intermediate crude for November delivery added 28 cents to its overnight low to reach $92.35 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Natural gas prices shed 2.6 cents to $3.578 per million British thermal units. Home heating oil lost 2.32 cents to $3.2339 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline dropped 5.4 cents to $2.9016 per gallon. At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.81 per gallon, down from Thursday's $3.813, AAA reported.
