Under the auspices of HE the Minister of State for Energy and Industry Affairs Dr. Mohamed Saleh Al-Sada, Doha hosts the 24th World Liquefied Petroleum (LP) Gas Forum from September 26 to 29. The forum, which is expected to draw more than 3,000 delegates, is titled ‘Delivering a future of exceptional energy’ encouraging countries to shift from high carbon producing fuels to LPG. It will have interesting sessions on topics such as ‘uniting the industry’, ‘global outlook for LP gas until 2030’, ‘supply, trading and price’ and the ‘The Middle East LP gas market’. Other programmes to be featured at the forum include global technology conference and the first global autogas summit. The World LP Gas Association (WLPGA) will present the inaugural ‘Best Practices Award’ to International Energy Services (IES).It will also announce the ‘WLPGA Innovation Award’ winner during the forum. The forum is sponsored by a number of local and international companies, which are: Tasweeq, Qatar Petroleum, Total, ExxonMobil, Qatargas, RasGas, Shell Qatar, ConocoPhillips, Woqod and Nakilat.
