
Egypt's exports of natural gas and its derivatives decreased in October this year by 45.7% to hit 115 million dollars against 212 million dollars during the same month in 2012. Natural gas production went down by 8.75 percent to reach 3.524 million tons in October, compared with 3.862 million tons during the same period last year, according to a bulletin released by the Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center. Local consumption of natural gas decreased during the same period by 3.57 recording 3.161 million tons, compared with 3.278 million tons, the bulletin said.
