
Manager of engineering and construction at the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) said a boosting injection capacity project in Parsi and Karange oil fields is complete and on the verge of pre-commissioning tests. Seyed Abdollah Mosavi made the remarks, adding the project will be operational after passing pre-commissioning phase and conducting safety and technical examinations. The project aims at boosting gas injection to Parsi and Karange reservoirs by 200 mcf/d raising total daily gas injection to 1.1 bcf. On the way of implementation of the project, Mosavi said in order to do the project, two lines of new compressors installed in gas injection stations Karange 500 and Parsi 700 plus laying the related pipelines and wellhead equipments. Located in Khozestan province south of the country Kanage and Parsi oil fields are administered by Agha Jari Oil and Gas Exploration Company.
