
HRH the Prime Minister's Advisor for Industrial and Oil Affairs, Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa today chaired the 166th meeting of the Board of Directors of Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) at the company's headquarters. Chairman of the Board of Directors welcomed the Board members, and conveyed the Kingdom of Bahrain's wise leadership's appreciations for the Company's great successes achieved and support for its future strategic projects to double its petrochemicals and fertilizers production and overcome all obstacles might hinder its successful developmental march. The meeting reviewed the recent prominent events and achievements witnessed by the company, and discussed matters relating to the company's operational responsibilities in assisting in the development of the Bahraini community, providing all work's environment requirements, reviewing the company's development training programs for its national cadres, who have demonstrated professionalism in performing their work. At the end of the meeting, HRH the Prime Minister's Advisor thanked the company's Board members' exerted efforts to make of the meeting successful and their positive decisions taken to bolster the company's successful march, lauding the Executive Management members, who have been professionally applying the Board's resolutions, policies and strategies. On their part, Board members expressed thanks and appreciations to the Chairman of the Board, emphasizing snatching economic and development opportunities offered by the petrochemical industry and to benefit of the utilization of primary resources available in the Gulf region.
