Iran capable of producing oil for next century

Oil Minister Rostam Qassemi said Iran is capable of producing oil at least for the next one hundred years. Over 70 percent of world’s energy resources belongs to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), the minister said, adding that Iran stands in the first place in the world in terms of its oil and gas total reserves. He also said that Iran has world’s second gas resources and is world’s fourth oil producer. Qassemi said the total value of Iran’s annual oil and gas production stood at dlrs 220 billion.
