Kuwaiti crude oil dropped USD 1.20 to settle at USD 102.39 per barrel (pb) on Friday, compared to USD 103.59 pb the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Saturday. Prices of the crude oil continued to drop on international markets. Those of the forward delivery deals of the Brent fell two percent, on Friday, the heaviest loss on record since September, after a negative report about US unemployment fuelled further worries regarding economy of the largest crude consumer. Deals of the international standard index ended Friday's session with a drop of USD 2.22, some 2.09 percent, settling at USD 104.12 per barrel, after falling, earlier in the session, lower than USD 103.62 pb. Meanwhile, the Brent contracts concluded with incurring a loss of USD 5.90, five percent. In the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), prices of the US crude oil for forward delivery fell on Friday, ending the week in the heaviest proportional loss. Contracts of the American light crude deals for May delivery ended with 56 cents decrease, some 06 percent, settling at USD 92.70 pb, after dropping during the session, to USD 91.91, ending the week with a fall of USD 4.53, some 4.6 percent.
