Price of the Kuwaiti crude oil was up USD 0.17 to USD 107.50 per barrel on Wednesday compared to USD 107.33 pb on Monday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said in a statement on Thursday. International markets witnessed increase of oil prices after the US Congress approved a deal late on Tuesday to scale back some USD 600 billion in scheduled tax hikes and government spending cuts known as the "fiscal cliff."
