Kuwaiti crude oil was selling for USD 102.24 per barrel (pb) on Wednesday on a gain of 62 cents, compared to the previous rate of USD 101.62 pb, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation on Thursday. The US Energy Information Administration released a report Wednesday that showed US crude reserves grew by 250,000 barrels in the week ending April 5. Contracts for crude for May delivery at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) came to an average of USD 94.56 pb. The highest price seen yesterday was USD 94.59 and the lowest USD 94.31 pb.
